About The Body Shop
The Body Shop was founded by Dame Anita Roddick in Brighton, England, in 1976. Roddick had been experimented with mixing her own skin care products and decided to start a business in which social goods were valued. In the past 40 years, the company grew to include over 3,000 stores in over 60 countries. The Body Shop has taken the Enrich Not Exploit Commitment, which means that they support local farmers and suppliers, manufacture products that are 100% vegetarian, and do not conduct any animal testing. The company sells skin care products, body lotions and oils, soaps, candles, fragrances, makeup, and hair care items. They have products for various skin types and skin tones.
